Stilio Limited Edition is born in the sun‑drenched terroir of Manduria in Apulia, where old Primitivo vines grow in poor, rocky soils rich in minerals, under hot days and cooling breezes from the nearby seas. This climate delivers naturally low yields of intensely flavored grapes. The fruit is harvested at optimal ripeness to maximize concentration and aromatic complexity. In the cellar, a prolonged maceration with délestage (rack‑and‑return) extracts color, tannin and aroma in a controlled, gentle way, contributing to the wine’s greater structure and higher alcohol. The wine then undergoes about one year of aging—partly in oak—allowing its organoleptic profile to become more defined, rounding out the texture and amplifying its hallmark intensity.
An exceptional wine that reflects the rich traditions of Salento and Puglia
Stilio’s Limited Edition is different from the regular version because it has a bit more alcohol. This is done by keeping the wine in contact with the grape skins for longer and letting it age. It still has strong connections to Salento and the Taranta dance, as you can see on its fancy limited edition label. Stilio – Limited Edition is a type of Primitivo wine from Manduria, and it goes really well with classic Italian foods like red meats, roasted dishes, and aged cheeses.
